Canter Magazine is committed to protecting your privacy. This notice has been provided to help you understand our online and offline information practices, and how this information is collected and used on this website. Please read the information below and contact us if you have any questions.
Personal information is only collected from you when you voluntarily provide it. "Personal information" includes your name, address, email address, and phone number. We request this information when you subscribe, place an order, participate in surveys, enter contests, participate in online forums, or when you voluntarily register at one of our partner websites. Canter Magazine does not currently collect credit card information, since all online orders are placed through a third party payment processor. Customers who do not wish to submit credit card information online may fill out a separate subscription form on our website, which will submit a subscription request without requiring prepayment. Unless you have responded to a "free trial" promotion (indicated on the subscription form he/she has completed), you should be aware that submission of an online subscription form is an obligation to purchase a subscription at the regular subscription price.
The Canter Magazine website may collect information such as your IP address, the type of browser you are using, your domain name, the time you accessed the site and the website that referred you to it. We use this information to improve your online experience, and to collect statistical information about site visitors and patterns. This information is used in the aggregate only, and no personal information about you is associated with it.

Canter Magazine and Canter Magazine's website are intended for adults, however, some of our offers, promotions, and other content may be appealing to children under the age of 13. Canter Magazine is strongly committed to protecting the safety and privacy of children who visit our site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we obtain information from anyone who indicates that she/he is under the age of 18, that information is immediately removed from our database and is not used for any purpose. Our website is available worldwide, but our site is hosted in the United States. All matters relating to this site are governed by US law and the laws of the state of California. Any information provided by customers outside of the US will be transferred the the US. By visiting our site and submitting information, you are authorizing this transfer, and the processing and use of your data.
Canter Magazine may amend this policy at any time. If we make significant changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting an announcement in a prominent place on our site.
